Location of the plant:

The Iowa Renewable Energy, LLC biodiesel plant is in Washington, Iowa along E. 7th Street and is approximately 27 acres. Located along side Iowa Chicago & Eastern Railroad (IC&E) it uses both highways and rail service for inputs and outputs. It utilizes both soybean oil and animal fat as its feedstock, the plant can produce
30 million gallon per year in biodiesel.
